Crisis, hunger, and homelessness can happen at any time to virtually anyone. Join in the ongoing efforts of feeding communities within Metro Atlanta by preparing meal kits to serve to homeless youth. Volunteer engagement includes packing a sack lunch to benefit our partner agencies serving clients at this time.
Step 1: Gather Items!
Each sack lunch must include a hearty protein item (examples found here), a fruit cup, a granola bar, a water bottle, and a spork/napkin set. Please include a list of all ingredients on each sack lunch to help agencies account for dietary restrictions. You may write the contents directly on the bag or enclose an ingredient list inside each.
Step 2: Deliver Sack Lunches!
At minimum, each volunteer will commit to creating at least four sack lunches to donate. All donations must be delivered to 63 Auburn Ave NE Atlanta, GA 30303 between July 27th - July 28th during the hours of 9:30am-12pm.
