Inclement Weather Shelter Meal Service at Austin Street Center's former shelter (located at 2929 Hickory St) is a fast-paced and high-energy opportunity, with a high level of client interaction that is perfect for anyone great at multitasking. The tasks performed include but are not limited to: serving a meal to clients, meal prepping, setting up food orientation on the serving line, and serving drinks to clients from the beverage station. This position is posted emergently as the need arises and helps by being on the front line of serving. WE REQUIRE MEAL SERVICE VOLUNTEERS TO WEAR HAIRNETS, GLOVES, AND APRONS (ALL SUPPLIES WILL BE PROVIDED). WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE WEAR NON-OPEN-TOED SHOES.
