The Inclement Weather Shelter Volunteer at Austin Street Center's former shelter (located at 2929 Hickory St.) is a fast-paced and high-energy opportunity with high-level client interaction and is perfect for anyone great at multitasking. The tasks performed include but are not limited to handing out hygiene items and blankets, building lunch bags, monitoring towels during shower blocks, answering client questions regarding resources, and helping out where needed. This position is only posted as the need arises and helps extend our resources by meeting our clients' basic needs.
