Volunteer with the exciting Box City event on Thursday, March 31 from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Maker Playground. Volunteers are needed to assist third grade students through the mock development process and to help them create a 3D model of a Fishers neighborhood. There will be 4 stations: Development, Plan Review, Construction, and Inspection. Help students decide what to build and help them obtain 'approvals' from the City through the construction process. Fishers Planning and Zoning experts will be on hand to guide students through creating a smart, vibrant and entrepreneurial community. The workshop will sharpen civic and mapping skills. Water and snacks will be provided.
