Hello volunteers!
Interfaith Ministries' Women's Empowerment Group is throwing a social event for our Afghan Women's Welcome Group, and we need your help!
The event will occur on Tuesday, 2/21 between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Our new neighbors need volunteers to assist with the following areas to make the event a memorable experience:
- Transporting the ladies to the venue in SW Houston (to be disclosed to registered volunteers).
- Venue set-up and break down.
- Childcare support.
- Craft and activity planning.
Join us in celebrating the ladies of Afghanistan as they rebuild their lives in Houston. Snacks will be served.
